I took calculus physics before taking calculus. I got a B. I was disappointed as the rest of the physics classes I took I got A’s – I would usually set the curve. Previously I had even represented my school in a national physics competition. I didn’t actually give two craps about our “rating” I just wanted to go snowboarding and the competition was in Utah in winter. So I went to the competition, went snowboarding and then promptly broke my arm. It was sophomore year and I was about to start flight school. I was also in a loose interpretation of the word “band” and it was not possible to play guitar with the cast either, so I ended up cutting it off early, which was a lot harder than I expected and necessitated the use of a vice.
